Email and Microsoft 365
ZUMENTIQ uses Microsoft Exchange Online for business email. Mailbox content is stored in Switzerland according to our tenant configuration. The service processes messages, attachments, sender and recipient addresses and communication data. Microsoft services are provided by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited (Ireland), Microsoft Corporation (United States) and their subprocessors. A Swiss storage location for mailbox content does not mean that all operational, support and security data is processed exclusively in Switzerland.
Domain administration by Hostinger
Hostinger is our registrar and domain and DNS administration provider, not the hosting provider for this website. Technical DNS query data may be processed for these services. Hostinger International Ltd. is based in Cyprus. Our website code does not send contact enquiries or AI calculator inputs to Hostinger.

Website access and hosting
The public website zumentiq.ch is provided through OpenAI Sites using Cloudflare infrastructure. A ChatGPT account is not required to visit. Requests involve processing of IP addresses, timestamps, requested URLs and browser and device information for delivery, abuse prevention and troubleshooting. Providers involved include OpenAI Ireland Limited (Ireland), OpenAI group companies in the United States, and Cloudflare, Inc. (United States) and its affiliates. Hosting is not restricted to processing exclusively in Switzerland.
Scheduling with Microsoft Bookings
Scheduling links lead to an external Microsoft Bookings page. You leave our website only when you open the link. If you book an appointment there, the contact and appointment details you provide are processed to arrange and conduct the meeting. Microsoft’s privacy information displayed on that page also applies to its operation. No Bookings widget is embedded on our website.
Email enquiries
When you email us, we process your email address, any contact details you provide and your message to respond, prepare an offer and, where applicable, manage a business relationship. The email link opens your own email application. No contact form submits data to a separate form provider.
Cookies, analytics and embedded services
The website code created by ZUMENTIQ contains no analytics or advertising trackers, marketing cookies, externally loaded fonts, or embedded maps or videos. Language selection uses the URL without setting a cookie. The hosting uses Cloudflare’s __cf_bm security cookie to protect against automated attacks; it expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. When you dismiss the cookie notice, we store a timestamp under zumentiq-cookie-notice-v1 in local browser storage for 180 days solely to avoid showing the notice on every visit. This is not consent to tracking. You can reopen the notice at any time using “Cookie notice”. Pointer and scroll positions are processed within your browser for animation; the website code does not transmit them to ZUMENTIQ.
AI potential calculator
Inputs and calculations in the AI potential calculator are processed exclusively in your browser’s working memory. The calculator does not transmit these values or results to ZUMENTIQ, OpenAI, Microsoft or other providers and does not persist them. It does not call an AI model. Reloading the page restores the example values. Technical connection data generated by visiting the website is separate from these calculator inputs.
Purposes and legal grounds
We process data to deliver and secure the website, respond to enquiries and fulfil contractual or legal obligations under Swiss data protection law. Where the GDPR applies, processing relies on pre-contractual or contractual measures (Article 6(1)(b)), legal obligations (c), and legitimate interests in secure operation and relevant communication (f). Where consent is required, it is obtained before the relevant processing.
Recipients and international transfers
ZUMENTIQ processes data in Switzerland. The providers named above may also process data abroad, particularly in Ireland, Cyprus and the United States. Their globally distributed infrastructure may involve additional countries; provider privacy notices and subprocessor lists linked below provide further information. OpenAI identifies adequacy decisions and standard contractual clauses as transfer mechanisms. Cloudflare identifies the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework for transfers from Switzerland to the United States and standard contractual clauses for other transfers. Microsoft provides standard contractual clauses in its Data Protection Addendum. The applicable mechanism depends on the recipient, service and scope of the agreement or certification. You can contact us for information on recipients and safeguards relevant to your data.
Retention and security
We retain contact and appointment data for as long as needed to handle your enquiry, manage the business relationship or meet legal obligations. Data is then deleted unless retention obligations or a legitimate need to establish or defend claims require it to be kept. Email retention and deletion are governed by the rules configured in our Microsoft 365 tenant. Deletion from the visible mailbox may precede permanent deletion: recovery areas and applicable retention rules may preserve data for longer. Microsoft 365 does not prescribe one retention period for all emails. Technical hosting and security logs are subject to OpenAI and Cloudflare retention rules; duration depends on purpose, data type, security needs and legal requirements. We do not promise a blanket deletion period outside our control. The provider information linked below explains these criteria. The website uses encrypted HTTPS delivery. Access to business data is restricted to authorised persons.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction or deletion, and where applicable restriction, data delivery or portability, and object to processing. Consent can be withdrawn with effect for the future. A proportionate identity check may be necessary to handle requests. You may also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or another competent supervisory authority.

We update this notice when functions, providers or processing activities change. The version published on this website applies.
